Landscape Photography Chat with Dani Lefrancois

Dani’s passion for the Canadian landscape is rooted in her childhood family road trips through Southern Ontario and the Canadian East Coast. She would spend her summers in the wilderness, hiking the Niagara Escarpment and generally exploring caves, rivers and streams in an environment where she felt very much at home. This childhood experience inspired her to become a landscape and nature photographer and capture the wonder and beauty of her beloved Canada. Following 25 years living just 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, Dani moved to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, one of Canada’s most celebrated landscapes. This life changing decision led to her achieving a long term goal of getting back to nature, as well as helping her overwhelming success as a professional landscape photographer. A long time supporter of Light & Landscape, Dani kindly agreed to a recent Zoom chat with Shannon and Matt to discuss one of her longterm projects. Enjoy!
